Shipping and returns

Shipping

By Azal offers shipping for delivery within Australia and internationally via Australia Post and DHL. 

All orders incur a flat rate $11 shipping fee and will be sent with standard shipping with Australia Post.

We cannot be held responsible if incorrect details are given, or if your postal slip or item is stolen. If you provide us with an incorrect shipping address, and your item is returned to us, you will be required to pay the shipping fee again.

Please understand that once an item is shipped, it is out of our control and liability rests with Australia Post. From our end, all we can do is track the parcel with the tracking number given by Australia Post.

International orders are charged with a flat rate shipping fee of $41 at checkout. International parcels are shipped with DHL and because of the global Covid-19 situation, are taking slightly longer than usual.

US orders are currently taking 8-10 days (normally 3-4 days) and New Zealand orders are taking 3-4 days with DHL.

Returns

Custom made items are not returnable and sales are final once the order has been accepted. 

By Azal is unable to accept returns of earrings/pierced jewellery under ANY circumstances so please be careful with your choice and do not hesitate to ask for more information about the desired item before making your purchase.

By Azal does not give refunds or returns simply because you have changed your mind. Please consider this prior to placing your order. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have about any By Azal piece prior to purchasing it.

Jewellery is fragile. By Azal hand made items are priced fairly to reflect the work that has been done to create them. The bespoke pieces are handmade by Azal (By Azal is a one woman business) so please understand the love, time and care that goes into all the custom pieces.

ALL jewellery pieces are hand made each time with love and care. Please treat them kindly, do not expect silver to be as strong as gold, or plating not to be damaged if the item is worn daily or exposed to water. Returns or refunds are not given on wear and tear of jewellery items. 

If an item is faulty, please get in touch and we will endeavour to replace your item free of charge if it is in stock. These cases are dealt with on an ad hoc basis and as such, each circumstance and outcome is unique.

As a general rule we strongly recommend to remove your jewellery when showering, swimming, sleeping or during strenuous exercise in order to keep them in perfect condition. It is also important to keep pearl jewellery away from water, extreme heat and cold, and from perfumes and cosmetics.

Clothing returns policy

We accept exchanges and returns provided all garments are in new and unused condition with tags attached. If your item shows any signs of wear, it will be returned to you and your refund voided. Items must be returned within 7 days of receipt.

Please specify your name, order number and items to be returned. Once we receive the item and it has been deemed eligible for return, your exchange or return will be processed. 

A refund will be processes via the original payment method or the item can be exchanged.

The customer is responsible for shipping costs back to By Azal but will not be required to cover shipping costs of the new item.
